I believe that I was guided to Dr. Group, probably to save my life, given my compromised digestive tract and colon. In the 90's I lived and worked in Malawi and South Africa. The US Peace Corps required that I take anti-malarials for a two year period while working there, implementing programs in HIV Education and Permaculture training. I never got malaria, but I managed to completely obliterate my digestive tract, combined with stress and lots of heavy metals and other pollutants due to very poor water & sanitary systems. It took almost 5 years for my body to finally be overtaken by candida*, leaky gut, excess heavy metals and who knows what all - and on the outside I looked just fine!
To this day, I have to be very vigilant as to what I eat and how I think and live my life. I have never felt better, and probably never looked better except for those tell tale lines of age... or rather wisdom and phenomenal life experience! Yes, I love the sun and nature, I have played outside all my life and will never stop! I cannot begin to emphasize the importance of knowing what is happening on the INSIDE.
Of course, I was over anti-biotic'd my entire childhood and was a hippie child of the 60's so I take responsibility for some of the damage, due to my ignorance at that time in our history. It was a lot of fun then, but I caution those of you "Invinceables" who think that it can't happen to you. There are multitudes more environmental toxins and life stresses in the world today and if you don't pay as much attention to your internal flora as you do to your external physical body, you may find yourself in a very inadequate medical system that has no idea what is wrong with you, nor how to treat it.
Fortunately, there are people who have known these truths for many years and are a blessing and even a savior to so many ! Dr. Group's last book, Health Begins in the Colon is a tremendous resource and a must to learn some very important and little know basics.
It took me 40+ years to fill up this magnificent body with toxins, so now I'll spend the next 40? years cleaning it out by using the high quality products from Dr. Group and GHC.
